Our plans for Hemel Hempstead

Artists impression of the new hospital building in Hemel HempsteadWe are committed to maintaining services in Hemel Hempstead to ensure there are a range of urgent care and outpatient service available.

We’re working with Dacorum Borough Council and local healthcare partners to explore creating a new, purpose‑built, accessible health facility. The aim is to bring together hospital, GP, mental health, social care, wellbeing and community health services to provide more coordinated, joined‑up care for the local community.

This project is at a very early stage and more information will be available as it progresses.

Services at Hemel Hempstead Hospital will continue to run as normal whilst the potential Market Square option is explored.
