Patient drop-off / pick-up 

There are drop off areas located outside the level 3 and level 1 Verulam wing entrance, as well as in front of the Urgent Treatment Centre and X-ray department.​​

Parking

Emergency vehicles and other patients need unrestricted access around our sites. Please park considerately and do not park on any red or yellow lines, hatched areas or obstructing zebra crossings.

Parking office

The parking office is in blue hut located on level 3, Verulam Wing, to the side of the entrance.

Bus

Hemel Hempstead Hospital is located within walking distance of the town centre. The nearest bus stops are in The Marlowes, with numerous routes stopping there.

The nearest train station is Hemel Hempstead. It is about a 35 minute walk, or about 10-15 minutes by bus or taxi to the hospital.

There is a bike rack located outside the lower entrance of the Verulam wing.
