Biography

I qualified in 2002 from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, and completed my orthopaedic specialist training there and in the United Kingdom in 2010. I subsequently undertook two nationally renowned fellowships in trauma surgery at the National Institute for Traumatology and the National Institute for Accident and Emergency in Hungary, where I gained extensive experience managing a wide range of complex traumatic injuries.

After moving to England in 2008, I worked at North Middlesex University Hospital until 2011, continuing my orthopaedic training. I then joined West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as an orthopaedic registrar, before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2014, working across Watford General and St Albans City Hospitals. I became Lead for the Trauma Service in 2015.

In addition to my clinical work, I have held key leadership roles within the Trust. I was appointed Divisional Governance Lead for Surgery, Anaesthetics and Cancer in 2022, and became Clinical Director of Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2024.
