Biography
I have worked as a consultant Anaesthetist at West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from 2000-2023. I retired from NHS practice but continue to work actively as Ana anaesthetist in the private sector.
I was instrumental in setting up simulation at West Herts- WISER- West Herts Initiative in Simulation Education and Research. I was the Clinical Director from 2017- 2024.
I am the Associate Post Graduate dean for Simulation and Immersive Technolohgies at NHS East of England since 2023.
I am Training Programme Director for International medical Graduates at Foundation level in East of England.
I have been on the Exec Council for ASPiH since April 2022.
I have served on the Academy of Medical Educators for a 3 year period.
I am an Educational supervisor and appraiser for the Trust.
