Biography
Dr. Gautam is a highly experienced and dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist with extensive training in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine. She obtained her MBBS from Madurai Medical College, India, before completing her postgraduate training in anaesthesia (DNB) at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She then pursued advanced specialist training in Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine within the North Central London Deanery, developing a broad skill set in complex perioperative care.
She is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of anaesthetic sub-specialties, with particular expertise in obstetric, airway management, and paediatric anaesthesia.
She is actively involved in medical education, clinical audit, and research, as the research and audit lead for anaesthesia demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and the advancement of anaesthetic practice. She prioritises patient safety and strives to optimise patient outcomes through meticulous clinical skills and a collaborative approach.
Dr. Gautam holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA), a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCE) and is an affiliate college examiner, reflecting her commitment to both clinical excellence and the training of future anaesthetists.
