Biography
Having Graduated from St Andrews University with a degree in medical science and then the University of Manchester medical school. I went on to complete core medical training at Luton and Dunstable Hospital, before starting specialist respiratory training in the East of England deanery.
During my training I took an extra 2 years to train in intensive care medicine. I have a significant interest in patients requiring high dependency (level 2 ) care including patients requiring non-invasive ventilation. I also have interests in patients with asthma, COPD and bronchiectasis.
Since becoming a consultant in 2023, I have worked in our respiratory virtual hospital, helping to grow the service and develop new pathways within the virtual hospital so that we now provide 87 beds across 5 different pathways - heart failure, general medicine, respiratory, frailty and surgical. I became clinical lead of the Virtual Hospital in May 2024 and am working hard to grown this award winning service.
