How you can get involved

There are many different ways to get involved including signing up to receive updates, attending public meetings and events and joining our reference groups. We also welcome ideas and suggestions about how we can reach as many people and communities as possible. Please let us know by emailing: westherts.redevelopment@nhs.net

You do not need to register to attend these meetings.

Our Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG) is for patients, carers, local residents, community groups and members of the public interested in sharing their views as we develop our plans. To find our more please read our terms of reference and if you would like to join please complete our expression of interest form

 

Our Professional Reference Group is for staff and partner organisation representatives. If you would like to join please email westherts.redevelopment@nhs.net

We are setting up a travel and access reference group to make sure that transport and other access issues in connection with our hospital sites are fully considered as we look at various options and develop our plans.

We very much want patients, carers and community groups in particular to be represented on this group, working alongside transport planners from local councils, public transport providers and East of England Ambulance Service. The Outline Planning Application for Watford General Hospital is scheduled for submission in May 2021 following the public exhibition of the proposals during which the public and staff were invited to comment.
