I am a General Paediatrician committed to delivering high quality care for patients and provide medical expertise for children with a range of medical conditions.
Following my primary qualification in 2002 from the University of Sheffield Medical School, I worked in a wide range of Paediatric sub-specialties in the West Midland and London regions and was awarded my Certificate in Completion of Training in Paediatrics in 2013.
My particular clinical interest is in children with allergic disease and a large part of my clinical work is the management of patients with food allergies, airway allergic conditions (including rhinitis and asthma) and skin manifestations of allergic disease (eczema). I also have an Honorary Consultant Appointment in Paediatric Allergy at Imperial Healthcare NHST Trust where I have previously worked as Locum Consultant.
I also have an interest in the management of children with acute illnesses and regularly assess children in my Urgent Referral Clinic and in the Children’s Emergency Department.
I am a keen medical educator and have completed a Fellowship in Medical Education and teach on a number of Life Support Training Programmes. Currently I am leading the development of a Simulation programme aimed at improving medical knowledge and team performance in the management of sick children.
I have published in the fields of Paediatric Allergy, General Paediatrics and Medical Education.
