Minor Injuries Unit at St Albans City Hospital

The Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at St Albans City Hospital is unfortunately closed this Saturday 7 July due to staffing shortfalls.

For minor injuries such as cuts, bites and sprains please go to the Urgent Treatment Centre at Hemel Hempstead Hospital which is open from 8am to 10pm. The MIU will reopen on Sunday 8 July at 9am and run as normal until 8pm.

Please call NHS111 who will advise and direct you to alternative services.
