Blood tests

You need to book an appointment for a blood test at any of our hospital sites. This reduces waiting times and overcrowding, particularly at peak times.

All blood tests at West Herts need to be booked using the Swiftqueue website.

Except under 5s - Book a blood test at the Peace Children’s Centre

Telephone booking

For patients unable to book online, telephone booking is available Monday to Friday, between 9am and 3pm on 01727 897376.

GP requested blood tests

If your GP surgery has asked you to have a blood test, you must bring the blood test request form so that our staff know which tests have been requested. We can’t get the information we need from a mobile screen, so please bring the paper form so we can proceed with the test. On arrival, you can check in using our kiosk.
