The time given by all volunteers is much appreciated by staff, patients and visitors. Volunteers recruited should generally be over the age of 16, be responsible, reliable, empathetic, emotionally mature and communicative and should be treated as staff, particularly in respect of insurance purposes.

Picture of the Hello my name is and our values logosTrust Values & #Hellomynameis Campaign:

The Trust is committed to ensuring that both volunteers and paid staff are equally involved in terms of the Trust ‘values’ – Care, Commitment & Quality: See, Start, Support & Sustain.

To create a magnetic field within an organisation there has to be some attraction, energy or excitement to make a person want to volunteer.

It is hoped that our volunteers will also be encouraged to embrace the #hellomynameis  ... campaign that helps to remind us all to go back to basics and introduce ourselves to patients properly, to improve patient experience.
