St Albans City Hospital is situated in Waverley Road, a little distance from the city centre. Although it possible to walk to the Hospital from the city centre, a bus or a taxi may be preferable.

Both railway stations that serve St Albans are some distance from the Hospital, so if your journey to the Hospital involves rail travel, to continue your journey from the station, a bus 301 or the 653 or a taxi may be preferable to walking. Buses and taxis are available from outside the main Thameslink railway station. The S2 Bus stops at the main railway station and the Hospital.

The other station that serves St Albans is St Albans Abbey on the Abbey Flyer line. Serving stations from Watford Junction, St Albans Abbey station sits at the bottom of Holywell Hill. For buses, come out of the station onto Holywell Hill, cross over the road and go right up towards the town. A bus stop is situated a short distance away.

See the Intalink website for up-to-date timetables and the travelWatford App, a journey planner that covers areas across Hertfordshire and beyond.
