Our values
Our values to help guide how we work with all of our patients, their family and friends, colleagues and partners. The values are our way of clearly setting out the standards patients, their family and friends, and partners should expect from all of our staff, as well as volunteers and contractors (such as out catering team), when they visit our hospitals.
They are especially important as many of our patients helped to create them.
Our new values will also guide all of our staff recruitment and appraisal processes in the future as evidence suggests that hospitals where values are part of the culture have improved outcomes for their patients.
