Background
Mr Shaikh obtained his medical degree from the University of Manchester and carried out his basic surgical at The Royal London, St Bartholomew’s and University College London Hospitals.
He pursued his keen interest in Urology as a Urology and Simulation Research Fellow at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
Continuing his higher surgical training in Urology within the London deanery, Mr Shaikh spent his final years sub-specialising in Endourology and Stone disease at Charing Cross Hospital. He was employed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare and has recently joined the team at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS trust.
