Professional profile
I qualified in India and came to the UK for postgraduate training in Paediatrics. Was appointed as Consultant paediatrician in 1996 at Royal Lancaster infirmary. Moved to Watford in 2002 because of personal circumstances. I am trained in General Paediatrics, Neonatology in various teaching hospitals and District General hospitals in the UK. I have also worked in Paediatric Neurology at Guy’s Hospital, University hospitals of Wales- Cardiff. Underwent fellowship training at Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. My current responsibility is to looking after a very busy level 2 Neonatal unit. I hold a weekly General Paediatric clinic, Weekly Paediatric Neurology and Headache clinic, and a weekly Neonatal follow up clinic.
Personal profile
I have a special in interest in Paediatric Neurology and trying to develop this in the Trust for the benefit of the local community. I like reading specifically on spiritual topics because of my back ground learning of Sanskrit. I do Yoga and Meditation for relaxation.
