Professional profile
Mr Waters qualified from University College London Medical school in 1995. He underwent specialist training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, Specialist Registrar rotation. He subsequently spent a year in Australia on the prestigious Sydney Hip & Knee Surgeons’ international fellowship.
Mr Waters sees and treat many orthopaedic conditions and fractures. His sub-specialty interests are hip and knee surgery; including knee an hip replacement, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), ligament reconstruction, osteotomy (knee re-alignment), hip resurfacing and revision (redo) joint replacements.
Personal profile
Mr Waters is involved in research looking into the life-span of hip and knee replacements and the design of new implants. He continues to publish and present research at international meetings. The little free time he has is spent with his family, travelling, various sporting activities, playing/recording music and collecting guitars.
