Professional profile
Mr Spiegelberg qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital) in 2004. He underwent specialist training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and subsequent Specialist Registrar training on the Oxford registrar rotation centred at Oxford University. Subspeciality training followed in hip and knee reconstruction in Canada on the internationally renowned University of Western Ontario Adult Reconstruction Fellowship program. Prior to taking up consultancy he spent a further few months back at the RNOH with the Joint Reconstruction Unit.
Mr Spiegelberg sees and treats many orthopaedic conditions and fractures. His sub-specialty interests are hip and knee surgery; including knee and hip replacement, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), cartilage transplantation, hip resurfacing and revision (redo) joint replacements.
Mr Spiegelberg remains active in research looking into various aspects of orthopaedic surgery of the hip and knee. He continues to publish and present research at international meetings. His free time is spent with his family, cycling, playing tennis and occasionally playing golf.
