Professional profile
I qualified from Oxford University in 2001. I then trained in cardiology and general medicine in London. I have done specialised training and research in cardiac MRI at the Royal Brompton Hospital, in cardiac CT at the London Chest Hospital, and in echocardiography both at Hammersmith Hospital in London, and also during an echocardiography fellowship at Hospital Bichat in Paris (2009).
I have done advanced heart failure training at Harefield Hospital (2013-2014) including the care of patients after cardiac transplantation.
My clinical interests are heart failure, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and all forms of cardiac imaging. My research interests are mainly related to cardiac MRI.
Personal profile
Outside work my interests include music and literature, and I am active in a several charities that seek to assist the sick and the marginalised.
