About Urology
Urology is a surgical speciality, covering the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. However, just because you are referred to us does not mean that you will necessarily need a surgical procedure.
We are based across three sites:
Some operations for cancer treatment take place at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage and we also link with Mount Vernon Hospital for specialised cancer treatment.
Patients are referred to us from GPs or hospital consultants and following this an outpatient appointment is made with either one of our urological surgeons or specialist nurses.
