Appointments Booking Team - for making and cancelling appointments

To speak to us about your appointment please contact the booking team. If you are unable to attend an Outpatients appointment, please let us know as soon as you can (at least 48 hours’ notice when possible).

Please have this information to hand:

  • Your NHS number or case number and/or your date of birth
  • The appointment date and time (if known)

To obtain an appointment

Patients are referred by their GP. Waiting lists have grown since the Covid pandemic and unfortunately patients may have to wait a long time to see a consultant. The trust is working to reduce waiting times. Referrals are assessed and are prioritised as clinically indicated.

Two-week wait appointment (2WW)

Patients with symptoms which could be cancer are referred on a two-week wait pathway (2WW). If you have been referred on the two-week pathway it is important you attend the appointment or contact us as soon as possible to rearrange it.
