How to tell us if you’ve had your vaccine

If you have already had your COVID-19 vaccine, please let us know by emailing a PDF copy of your NHS COVID travel pass to westherts.vaccinationdata@nhs.net. Click here for details of how to do this.

Where can I get vaccinated?

There are lots of local walk-in COVID-19 vaccination centres and pop-up clinics in our local area. These include Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Watford Town Hall, St Albans and many more! Click here for details.
You can book an appointment via the National Booking Service website or by calling 119.
You can come to our walk-in clinic for staff
- Tuesday 8 March (taking place in the pastoral care offices, admin block, Watford General Hospital, 8am to 4pm.)
- Thursday 31 March (taking place in the pastoral care offices, admin block, Watford General Hospital, 8am to 4pm.)
- Tuesday 12 April (taking place in the pastoral offices, admin block, Watford General Hospital, 8am to 4pm.)

Breastfeeding, fertility and pregnancy

Having the COVID-19 vaccine is strongly recommended if you are planning for a baby, already pregnant or breastfeeding, to help protect yourself and your baby from coronavirus. The resources below provide further information:

Allergy or immunology

If you haven't had your vaccine due to an allergy or immunology reason, please contact westherts.vaccinationdata@nhs.net to let us know.

General anxiety

If you are feeling anxious about having your vaccine, for any reason, please contact westherts.vaccinationdata@nhs.net to let us know. We will do all we can to support you and can arrange for someone to sit with you, if that would help.

Needle phobia

Religious or faith reasons

If you are hesitant to have your vaccine due to religious beliefs or faith reasons, a member of our Pastoral team will be happy to speak to you. Please contact westherts.spiritualcare@nhs.net or call 01923 217 994.

Ethnic minority communities

If you are hesitant to have your vaccine due to a reason related to ethnicity, a member of our BAME Connect staff network will be happy to speak to you. Please contact westherts.bamestaffnetwork@nhs.net. Alternatively, you can call the Herts and West Essex BAME support line on 0300 012 1101 – select option 4 (2pm – 8pm, everyday).

Here for You – support for staff

The Here for you service is run by experts in the mental health field for healthcare staff in Hertfordshire and Essex who need someone to talk to. You can call 24/7 to confidentially talk through any concerns you may have about having the vaccine, whatever they may be, on 0344 257 3960 or email at hereforyou@nhs.net.
