Simulation Technician Apprentice for WiSER

Hello! My name is Martin Edwards, and I am a Simulation Technician Apprentice for the West Herts Initiative in Simulation Education and Research (WiSER).

The apprenticeship is a new addition to the Simulation Department, and I am excited to be the first taking the journey into the wonderful world of Simulation.

My background is in administration, and I have over a decade of experience working in all types of industries ranging from Leisure to Luxury, and from Local Council to Government.

What attracted me to simulation was its unique approach to education and development within the health industry. To be able to help clinical teams practice scenarios in a safe, realistic environment is something I am proud to be a part of. Not to mention the manikin family is pretty cool!
