Our Gastroenterology team is a multi-disciplinary team that has been praised for the way the doctors, nurses, management, admin and decontamination teams work well together to develop and deliver the best possible service for patients.

Procedures

The procedure done most often is a Fibroscan, a type of ultrasound that can measure the degree of inflammation or scarring in your liver. It is a simple, painless test that uses high frequency sound waves to help doctors plan your care and treatment.

This service is located at Hemel Hempstead Hospital.
