West Herts has a dedicated Dermatology department with highly qualified and experienced consultants, providing a range of subspecialist expertise. You’ll find all our staff are friendly and caring.

Our facilities also include Specialist Dermatology Nursing.  Our experienced specialist nurses will help with education and demonstration of topical treatments for paediatric as well as adult patients.  Our specialist paediatric nurses can help with the management and treatment of childhood conditions such as eczema.    We also have a dedicated Leg Ulcer Management Clinic with trained nurses to treat and dress these lesions.

Our consultants see private patients at Spire Bushey Hospital, Spire Harpenden Hospital, and Bishops Wood Hospital.  The treatments we can provide privately at West Herts Trust are:

  • Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
