Private patients are welcomed into the Trust alongside our NHS patients. We do not have a private ward with a mix of specialties; we believe that the best care is provided with the expertise concentrated in one place.
By using our specialist teams and equipment outside of core NHS hours, we can ensure it is used to full capacity. In this way, NHS waiting times are not affected by the private care we offer.

Rapid access to consultants and services
You will probably see your consultant in a private facility. They will recommend West Herts as the preferred place to provide your treatment. Their private secretary will contact you about appointments.
