Professional profile

I am a Consultant Cardiologist with training in all aspects of cardiology and specialist interests in heart function, heart valves and advanced cardiovascular imaging.

I am the lead heart failure consultant for West Herts Hospitals NHS trust and for the community heart failure service at CLCH NHS trust.

I undertook my medical training in France, working for 10 years in large teaching hospitals and research teams at Marseille University Hospitals, Lille University Hospitals and Paris Diderot University.

I came to London to study the effects of diabetes on the heart at Imperial College, working alongside cardiologists and diabetes specialists at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals. I undertook my cardiac CT training from experts at Guy’s Hospital in London.

I completed a MsC in Cardiovascular Physiology and a PhD in Cardiology and Haemodynamics. I was awarded a research grant from the French Federation of Cardiology for my research on heart valve disease and on exercise echocardiography.

Personal profile

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my young children, reading, playing piano and guitar and exploring the countryside. I grew up in the south of France competing in sea and mountain sports..
