We are a small team who offer our services across all three hospitals within the Trust, Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans.
By working across site this enables us to establish the right balance of staff to meet the workload at each office on a daily basis.
Our work involves dealing with extremely sensitive situations surrounding bereavement, this is where the majority our time is spent. However, we are involved in more regular duties as listed below.
- Cashier service for patients, visitors and staff
- Reimbursement of travel costs
- Patients Property, safeguarding valuables
- Witnessing Wills and Power of Attorney
- Car Park concessionary permits
Additional Duties
Our involvement with patients on the ward is limited, although when documents such as wills or power of attorney need witnessing we will make ourselves available.
Concessionary Parking
We are able to advise Patients and Visitors on concessionary parking. If you are eligible Patient Affairs or Main Reception can issue you with your permit. The patient or visitor must produce an authorised application form from the ward or department.
