Hip and Knee Unit
Mr Neil Davies, Mr Tim Waters, Mr Ben Spiegelberg, Mr Paul Whittingham-Jones, Mr Popat Mahapatra and Mr Subhajit Ghosh are Consultant Orthopedic Surgeons providing a dedicated, expert hip and knee surgery service at West Herts NHS Trust.
Outpatient clinics are conducted at Watford General Hospital, Saint Albans City Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital. Surgery is performed at Watford General Hospital and St Albans’s City Hospital.
The Hip and Knee Unit consultants treat a wide range of conditions including hip arthritits, femoroacetabular impingement, revision hip replacement surgery, knee arthritis, sports knee conditions, revision knee replacement and trauma.
The Hip and Knee Unit provides a comprehensive range of surgical treatment including: primary and revision hip replacement, keyhole hip surgery, soft tissue hip procedures, keyhole knee surgery, knee ligament reconstruction surgery, realignment knee surgery, partial and total knee replacement, revision knee replacement and robotic assisted knee replacement surgery.
