Events

Thursday 16 November 2006
Post-Consultation Meeting

This event will include feedback from the consultation, an overview of activities undertaken and an outline of the next steps.

Following this event, at 1pm a board meeting will be held in public. The West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust Board will consider the views and opinions of our many stakeholders and make a decision regarding the options presented in the consultation.

*Note: the 100-day Consultation 'Delivering a Healthy Future in West Hertfordshire' closed on October 16, 2006. The Trust received over 2000 questionnaires, held/attended over 50 public meetings, wrote to over 1000 local stakeholders and issued over 24,000 leaflets.

The Trust Board will now meet to consider the response to the consultation and ultimately make a decision on the proposal contained within the consultation regarding the centralisation of emergency care and the interim location of the majority of planned surgery. The review of Acute Services in Hertfordshire continues and information will be available on the Trust website following the initial phase of the review.
