Flexible Working
In order to help staff develop a more equal balance between work and home life, flexible working options are available where service provision allows.
Examples of flexible working include:
- Job sharing
- Annualised Hours/Term Time Only Contracts
- Self-rostering
- Flexi-time
- Compressed Hours
- Part Time
- Bank shifts
- Career Break
The Work Life Balance Policy provides guidance on the types of flexible working available and describes how to apply for flexible working. Also see the Job Share Policy.
The Trust also has a Family Leave Policy. Carer's leave is available for when an emergency occurs with someone you care for. Parental Leave is available for more extended, planned time off for parents with children under the age of 6.
Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Leave entitlements are detailed in the Family Leave Policy - 2 weeks' paternity leave and up to one year for maternity and adoption leave.
