Background

Professional Profile

After graduation from Dow Medical College in Karachi in 1988, I came to the UK and went through an extensive medical training programme between 1991-97. During this time, I acquired all my postgraduate qualifications and spent 1 year in the Royal Brompton Hospital as a Research Registrar in Cardiology. After that I took a job as a consultant in Saudi Arabia and after 4 years returned back to the UK to join Acute Medicine in Wexham Park Hospital, where I worked for 11 years before moving to Watford General Hospital.
